Consumers scanned the tag to get a text back from Foot Locker containing a coupon code.  Participants simply had to show the coupon code at the checkout to get the discount.  This was a much easier process for consumers than having to print the coupon and remember to bring it in, thus allowing Foot Locker to increase consumer participation in the Friends & Family promotion.

After snapping and sending, consumers get a video from Nordstom’s Beauty Director. To keep consumers interested, Dior rotates the video to feature a different product monthly. After watching the video, consumers can reply with their zip code to find the Nordstrom location nearest them.
